In Greece, the taxation of net winnings from online gambling is regulated by Law 5219/2025 – "Property Tax Code" (Government Gazette A' 130/18.07.2025).
While the player is legally the taxpayer liable for this income, Superbet acts as the withholding and paying agent on your behalf. To enhance your gaming experience, Superbet applies a commercial tax absorption policy, covering the tax costs under specific conditions so you can enjoy the maximum possible winnings in your account.
1. Taxation of Betting Winnings & Virtuals (Per Bet Slip)
